I usualy write-off a bad experience to a useless individual, rather than the entire company. In this case, they have gone the extra mile, and this page is the result.
Ordering parts from tpartswarehouse.com was a complete waste of time for me.
I ordered 20 new lug nuts and wheel studs for a 2002 Toyota Camry with factory steel wheels. The order was placed as 2 sets of 10 lugs and 2 sets of 10 wheel studs. My order was split into two packages that were mailed separately. In one package was 1 box of 10 wheel studs. The other package contained 2 plastic bags with 1 lug nut each! I paid for 20 of each, I got 10 and 2.
I checked the same Dorman part numbers on several web sites and confirmed that what I ordered was 2 sets of 10 lug nuts and wheel studs.
I finally managed to get through to someone on their customer service line. He admitted their error of only sending 1 set of 10 wheel studs, but tried to convince me that lug nuts are only available as quantity of one. I know that is not true. I already confirmed they are available in quantity of 1, 10, or even 30. I was told a refund would be issued for the parts I did not receive. He transferred me to another line, where I sat on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up. My portable phone battery was done.
I have sent emails through the tpartswarehouse.com site. I have received automated email replies. However, they have not refunded any money, nor have I received any additional parts. Their customer service phone line is generally backlogged at least 15 minutes. That isn't a good sign.
The web site I ordered from is tpartswarehouse.com. They also seem to be operating with the name Parts Pro. This same company may be running several similar web sites. If the vehicle lookup appears the same, I'm going someplace else.
I will take this page down when I receive all the parts I ordered, get a refund for the parts I did not receive, or when the advertising on this page has reimbursed me for my losses. It wasn't a large sum, but it only took a few minutes to create this page (less time than I've already spent on hold).
UPDATE - Looks like the ads will pay off before tpartswarehouse resolves the issue.
